The dawn of Uma Group has its genesis in the very thought of changing lives by means of changing lifestyles. It was the first to establish a packaging industry in Rajasthan with its first manufacturing unit at Abu Road, and the second in Mogra, Rajasthan. Upholding the vision of collective welfare and corporate social responsibility, it captured the state market.
Experiencing continuous growth, it expanded its legacy all over India. In 2008, it established Umax, which was instrumental in doing the same. Uma Group became an innovation hub — in 2011 it made its mark as one of the top three flexible packaging companies in India. A greenfield unit was set up in Guwahati in 2017, followed by a BOBST Flexo printing machine installation in 2019, and acquisition of a unit in Malegaon, Maharashtra in 2020.
With a production capacity of 72,000 tons per annum, the group has 5 manufacturing units in India with marketing and sales all over the country and abroad.

Incorporating Umax in 2008 marked a significant milestone — it enabled state-of-the-art manufacturing services for multinational customers. Umax played a pivotal role in capturing the entire Indian market with expertise tailored to meet the needs of MNCs, forging valuable partnerships across India.
Uma Group garnered widespread recognition with the prestigious World Star Award, honoring its role in introducing a smart wave of innovation to the packaging industry. In 2011, Uma Group achieved another remarkable milestone — cementing its position as one of the top two flexible packaging companies in India.
The ink kitchen was developed as a backward integration practice. A new manufacturing unit in Guwahati (2017), a BOBST Flexo printing machine at Umax (2019), and the acquisition of the Malegaon unit (2020) acknowledged new markets and technologies for low turnaround time, printing excellence, and cost effectiveness.
To unleash approaches that uphold sustainable corporate ideologies with our Solvent Recovery Plant (SRP). We intend to turn the Malegaon unit, situated 300 km from the port, into our Export Oriented Unit (EOU), and expand via backward integration through a Cylinder Processing Plant — reinforcing commitment to sustainability and future growth.
